"Joe's Den"

Nestled between our Cottage and our B&B, we have created "Joe's Den," a place where you can watch sports on the big screen television, or just sit around and have a chat. This is also the place for those of you who wish to smoke.

Appreciation from our visitors to our Cottage....

Summer 2007
Thank you from the bottom our hearts for the warm welcome we received and for providing this lovely cottage. The drive along River Road to Mary's Cottage is awesome, We hope we can get back sometime. While here we took a drive into Peterborough to visit the locks, have a picnic, and watch the boats being moved up and down on their journeys along the canal. We also went to a theatre production of the Sound of Music, and visited a small winery where we sampled delicious and unusual fruit wine.

God Bless you both

Wow, what a beautiful stay!! Not only great hospitality and understanding hosts, but a beautiful transition from golden autumn (last days) to a super white and startling winter! Walks, wild turkeys, great local people, all made our stay A-1! We are looking forward with great pleasure to our return visit in your beautiful area and to see you.

With our thanks and best wishes,
Nicole and Arthur, Quebec, Canada

Thank you so much for your gracious hospitality and your warm welcome, making our Christmas such a memorable one. Mary's Cottage is so cute and comfortable, we all loved it and felt right at home. The snow is just awesome and we made our first "snowman."

What a wonderful way to spend 2 days. This place is very cozy and relaxing and very clean. A perfect place to stay when you're boating on the Trent.
We hope to return someday and will recommend this place to others.

I still think fondly of my little nest upstairs in your home. It couldn't have been more perfect. I enjoyed our chats and bicycle rides on the trail. Thank you for making it so memorable.

My husband and I have stayed in lots of B&B's throughout the United States searching for antique glass pieces, but this is the best B&B yet.
