The River House Bed and Breakfast is a quaint cottage style home. The guest room (the loft) is very spacious and comfortable with a king size bed and a single, or can be made up as three single beds. There is a small efficiency kitchn area, which consists of a counter top fridge, microwave, toaster, tea kettle, and coffee pot.

The Otonabee River is noted for its fishing for Carp, Bass, Pickerel and Muskie, and although we do not fish, we enjoy watching others enjoying the sport.

or take a coffee or a glass of wine to the verandah.
So whether you are walking on the Rotary Greenway Trail, located on the old railway bed behind the house or along the river, there is lots to see - all kinds of wild flowers and birds, ducks, turtles, and if you are lucky you may even see the beaver swimming around. We can provide you with bicycles if you would rather go for a bike ride. In winter, the Rotary Greenway Trail is kept groomed and is a great place to cross country ski.
We have lived here for 32 years and have never ceased to appreciate the beauty around us.
