Meander
across the road to Lock 24 on the Trent-Severn Waterway
that takes boats from Lake Ontario to Georgian Bay.
The locks in this section of the Waterway are hand operated.
Take a lunch or supper, pull up a picnic table and enjoy the scenery.
The
road out front takes a scenic route along the Trent-Severn Waterway
between Peterborough and Lakefield along the Otonabee River
where you can see boats traversing the system,
or your family can enjoy a refreshing swim on a hot day!
