
At Mary's Cottage or River House Bed and Breakfast, there is plenty of opportunity to enjoy, the summer sun, beautiful sunsets, and a view of the Otonabee River. Or you can take a walk or bicycle ride on the trail behind the house. (We'll even provide you with bicycles!)
Meander across the road to Lock 24 on the Trent-Severn Waterway that takes boats from Lake Ontario to Georgian Bay. The locks in this section of the Waterway are hand operated. Take a lunch or supper, pull up a picnic table and enjoy the scenery.
The road out front takes a scenic route along the Trent-Severn Waterway between Peterborough and Lakefield along the Otonabee River where you can see boats traversing the system, or your family can enjoy a refreshing swim on a hot day! We offer lots of green space for your holiday enjoyment!
